Oliver Lange and Jan Gutkuhn will talk in this session about opportunities, challenges and first use cases of the fashion retailer H&M.

About Jan: Jan Gutkuhn is Director Web3 and Partner at DEPT®, a global marketing & technology agency. He is also co-founder of the first digital festival for Web3 and Metaverse, the Meta Festival. Jan has been working at the intersection of branding, commerce, culture and technical innovation for over 15 years and since 2021 he has been helping brands and retailers such as H&M, AboutYou and Vogue Business take their first steps into the metaverse.

About Oliver: Oliver Lange started working as Store Manager at H&M Germany in 2011, and from 2013 to 2017 he was Area Retail Manager. In 2018, he founded H&M Innovation LAB Germany, which works closely with the Lab in Sweden, but also carries out local retail innovation projects that have the potential to change the industry in terms of sustainability and digitalization. Since July 2020, Oliver has been driving innovation and technology with startups in Berlin as Head of H&Mbeyond. Recent projects of H&Mbeyond deal with on-demand production of garments or the virtualization of life.
